The Ames in Japan

- They are helping start and run a local Church
- Are returning to Australia for a home assignment
Please pray
- Hand over time as the Ames return to Australia for home assignment.
- Home assignment – reconnecting with supporters and supporting churches and family.
- Moving to work with Operation Mobilisation (OM).
- For the seekers that come along to church that the Holy Spirit would touch their hearts as they hear God’s word.
- For Christians in Japan (and in our church!). Pray for Spiritual strength, perseverance and encouragement.
- For co-workers, Murray and Kathy Trim as they settle back into Kobe and as we work together at Agape.
The Parsons in Japan
They are involved in
- They have been in Japan since May 1996
- They are helping start and run a local Church
- Are returning to Australia for a home assignment
Please pray
- Planning for our four month home assignment from next month… there is much to be done
- Finding people to fill in the gaps while we’re away
- A smooth transition to our new Australian mission organisation, CMS.
- To be open to God using us as His instruments to bless the people we rub shoulders with through our various responsibilities
Our missionaries in Asia
- The government is not supportive of their work
- They are involved in Bible translation
Please pray
- Energy and wisdom in home-schooling the children.
- Some peace and quiet at night is desired for good sleep.
- Security is always a matter for prayer. The government has refused visas to quite a few others. They have until the end of the year at the moment.
- They will shortly be distributing free clothes sent from here. This is a worthy point of contact with needy people.
Families we continue to pray for
- Mick and Jane Elliott,
- Ashley and Allison McDonald,
- Greg and Linda Wilson,
- Paul and Joanne Zu.
