FAQs

Where and when?

Our Sunday Service happens 10am every Sunday. We meet at Aldinga Payinthi College. The address is 150 Quinliven Road, Aldinga Beach, SA.

The easiest carpark is located at the intersection of Port Road/Quinliven Road. Most weeks we are in the main building - entry through the pedestrian gates near the carpark. Look for the open side glass doors near the gate. Occasionally we are in the APC gymnasium (same carpark and gate access).

Am I welcome?

Absolutely! Whether you’ve never been to a church, or been in churches your entire life, you
are welcome. We appreciate visiting a church can be weird/uncomfortable/fun/scary/mysterious/life-changing. But please join us and let someone welcoming at the door know you are visiting to receive a welcome pack. Also, feel free to ask them for directions, where the toilets are, where to sit (hint: any seat), etc. As for during the service, join in or just observe - whichever is comfortable.

What are your gatherings like?

Our gatherings are structured but relaxed and between 75-90 minutes long, with 80-120 people. Feel free to participate or just observe. Generally we have several corporate worship songs throughout the service, from the front someone might pray, read part of the Bible, preach a 30-40 minute Bible sermon, some notices and maybe an interview. Most weeks we celebrate Communion (The Lord’s Supper) - again, please feel free to simply observe or participate of you are a Christian. After the service we have tea & coffee, please join us!

Do I need to bring anything/what to wear?

Some dress more formal, others dress very casual. But there’s no dress code or requirements for entry. If you wear what you wear to a local cafe you’ll be fine.

If you have a Bible feel free to bring it along. Many use a Bible app on their phone too.

How accessible is the space?

We meet in the performing arts room of Aldinga Payinthi College. Generally the seating is ground level and flat with good access (occasionally the tiered seating is set-up; we have seats at the front which parents with prams, the elderly and people with mobility issues make use of).

Sit wherever looks good.

There are also accessible toilets and a change room outside the theatre and accessible parking spots close to the front door.

Do you have anything for kids and youth?

We have Children’s Ministry every week (school terms), creche most Sundays and a Youth Ministry program fortnightly during the service. We also have a mums group during the week. Strict Child Protection Policies apply for all volunteers.

Can I preview the services?

For sure. We have a basic YouTube livestream most Sundays 10am. Past sermons can also be viewed. Also please consider attending in-person to meet us and us to meet you!

I’d like to know more about Jesus, can you help?

We would love to! Come along Sunday or contact Pastor Garth via ‘Contact us’ - he’d love to speak or meet with you.
